Struts-Autocompleter

I have a autocompleter which uses the ajax theme and it is populated on the
basis of another autocompleter. The problem is sometimes the list is too big
and so it doesnt get displayed or populated.
there is an attribute ResultsLimit which works only for simple theme so when i
am using the ajax theme,what am i supposed to do??
