All of the business is either web or mobile based.
They are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join their Web Applications team and build Web 2.0 based UI's..
This person will be working on the next generation of our client's ecommerce system used by millions,
and millions of customers.
Key Skills and Experience:
-Heavy backend.. with some light front end.
-Minimum 7 years of experience developing Java applications
-Strong understanding of core Java and concurrency, multi-tthreaded programming
-Experience with scalable data-structures and associated allgorithms including sorting, hashing,
data partitioning/sharding etc.
-Familiarity with data abstraction strategies, technologiess, and standards such as JDO, JPA, ORM (Hibernate, Morphia) etc.
-Experience with serialization/de-serialization of data objjects and experience with remoting APIs such as REST, SOAP
-Excellent knowledge of object-oriented design principles
-Proficiency in SQL, relational database schema design and ORM technologies
-Exposure to AJAX, JavaScript, HTML and CSS is a plus
-Comfortable with Agile development methodology
-BS/MS in Computer Science
